Parul Khanna (born in Jalandhar India) is an YouTuber and video blogger from Montreal, Quebec (Canada). He started his YouTube channel in May 2018.

His YouTube channel is ParulTV and his content is mainly Informational Vlogs for Students, Student Life Experience in Canada, Current News, Travel and Skits.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Parul Khanna was born and raised in Jalandhar, Punjab. His parents, M.L Khanna and Monika Khanna were originally from Amritsar, Punjab, India. He has an older brother and an older sister. At present, Parul permanently resides in Montreal, Canada

As a child, Khanna has said he was an average kid with no interest in education and school.

In 2010, His life took a 'u' turn when he failed his high school board exams, and one of his social networking profiles got hacked. No one came to his rescue upon seeking any sort of help. After this incident, he adhered to the research in the field of information security and ethical hacking.

In 2017, Khanna graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada with a Masters of Applied Sciences in Information Systems Security. During his tenure with Concordia University, Parul was awarded multiple academic excellence scholarships ($50,000). Currently, he is working as a cyber security executive in Canada.

YOUTUBE JOURNEY

In June 2018, Khanna started a YouTube channel under the pseudonym "Parul TV". He has explained that the name ParulTV was prompted by the idea of creating a platform where he can talk about his life experiences and share them with the world.

Punjabi/Desi culture is frequently portrayed in his videos. His Youtube channel currently has over 2,75,000 subscribers and counting.

PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

The increasing cyber-attacks and the lack of sufficient awareness in society for the same created a profound interest in his mind to go ahead and establish an organization that would enhance the knowledge of the students and the society at large in securing themselves from any sort of cyber attack.

At the age of 19, he founded and established a unique computer security society i.e. “Third Eye Ethical Hackers Society”. As a budding entrepreneur, showcasing his research on various domains spanning across information security, ethical hacking and network security to an audience comprising of top-level management, CTO’s & CEO’s, government personnel and students of top universities in India was a mammoth task in itself. With time, due to the brilliant work done as a team, his organization became the best security services and investigation consulting organization focusing on cybercrime investigations and information security training.

His zeal in this field helped him in solving various high profile complex cybercrime cases in the country making him considered as the youngest IT security speaker in India.

After Graduating from Concordia University, Montreal, he now works in Canada in the domain of Cyber Security. Parul's Core specialities are Developing and implementing firm-wide Information Protection strategies (DLP), SOC Security Investigations, Incident Response, Security Assessments, Cyber Risk Advisory and Threat Management.
